[wellylug] device names

Hello,
I'm trying to set VLC to record video from a capture card. When I use the
lspci command it recognizes the card as:

*00.0b.0 Multimedia Controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7131/ SAA7133/
SAA7135 Video Broadcast Decoder (rev. f0)*

How do I tell VLC the name of the device?
