Hi all

I am getting annoyed with an ATI radeon X1250 GPU.
It is integrated into a Kino ITX mobo socket S1.
Suse 11.3 is running Ok on it so is OpenGL

However the performances are far below expectation, hence me trying the
ATI catalyst stuff from the official site etc ..
no such luck, can't install it.

So went to the xorg.conf and there is already a "driver: Radeon"
but is it the proper one ? No idea, obviously there is plenty of
versions of radeon drivers.

Any chance for an open source alternative in the ATI world such as I
would know for sure that I am reaching the max performance?
I know I cant probably expect a lot from this GPU but at this stage I am
not even sure if I am reaching its maximum possibility.
