Otherwise you can always ask the local secondary school's IT departments if
they have any soon-to-be-grads who are any good.  I deal with a few schools
who have on-to-it guys who sometimes don't want to go down the Uni path.

Otherwise you could always post job add's up at Vic / Massey, and see what
comes up.

15+ years in the IT industry and making a very good crust (but could always
be better ;) for me and my family I have yet to find a permanent job through
a recruiter.  They just don't get what I do.  To me if I could be bothered
with Recruiting I know there would be a market for it, since all the IT
recruiters I have dealt with have been completely hopeless.

I think a list of good agencies (or more to the point, good recruiters, as
it really comes down to the individual) is worth having.

Otherwise the other NZ geek esq sites such as geekzone, overclockers et al
may be a good place to go.
