[wellylug] Just discovered server is not serving up pages

I assume based on the fact it 'was working before' that some sort of
redirection was in place, such that the DNS pointed to eHost and then eHost
applied some cleverness to get the website to display.
So whilst the DNS change will work, it wont restore the status quo directly.
John's subsequent answers make it clear he has no idea what DNS is and how
it relates to a website loading, nevermind how to create or modify DNS
entries. It also suggests ultimately that if a LUG member can't provide him
with a 'navigate here, click here, change this, click save' level of detail
it's not going to be of much help. We've done everything but, and we're
still here...
Don't eHost have a helpdesk?
If eHost can't connect the dots for you, John, hire a professional - but
seriously this is getting to be a tired subject area for this group.
