I'd expect most Linux places to be charging between $120-140 per hour
for basic system administration, more for specialist/complex services.
The sad reality is that there are few small business/individual Linux
support organisations, simply because the money isn't there - far more
can be made focusing on larger organisations who are willing to pay much
more for quality services.
And of course, a number of the larger firms won't even touch small
business as they consider the low amount of work available and overheads
not worth it, compared to just getting more hours on a bigger project.
Not to say that such firms don't exist - I know a few contractors
providing Linux support services - but the environment discourages such
companies from forming.
