[wellylug] Linux for portable / laptop

I am a big fan of puppy linux... it is very low footprint - I think 
latest is just 120 ish Meg - but has most of what you need. It is (puppy 
5.25 is) ubuntu lucid binary compatible you can use ubuntu repository 
with it too so any software that you want - but you probably won't need 
to go there.
I made a LAMP archive (called .pet s in puppy speak) so you can play 
with web applications - I develop web-applications on it - see
