Linux is not bullet-proof, as demonstrated by idiots like me. :)
People who sell Windows Based machines should tell their customers
that once the computers out of warranty, and something goes wrong,
they are up for big money to replace the software that the computer
come pre-installed with, because the OEM manufacturers won't support a
machine that's no longer under warranty.
But I can't see that happening.
All the better for Linux, and the open source community.
If I had the opportunity to tell the makers of Linux (whatever distro
they use) would be to have native dial-up modem support, and get rid
of that dreadful Unity desktop.
