To be fair, when I decided I wanted to put Windows back on my laptop
(for browser compatibility testing), and discovered that my (self-burnt)
recovery DVDs had deteriorated to the point of unreadability, I got in
touch with HP and they sent me replacement media, for $23 IIRC. Machine
out of warranty. I think I just gave them the serial number.
But indeed it's still far more hassle than just installing Debian :-)
