Hi Adam,

I'm sympathetic to your dilemma and searched
Google's indices for you.

Evidently Hugh Davenport reported a similar
problem in December

The link suggests

    1.) checking for a firewall and

    2.) Cc-ing ftp.nz's admins.

Maybe Hugh can shed more light on it.
