[wellylug] WellyLUG rekindling

Goodness me. I only joined the mailing list a week or so ago to see what is
happening in the community. Imagine my surprise that there isn't even
agreement over how to talk.

I also follow a few linux related subs on reddit and it becomes clear very
quickly that a large portion of our community has no real desire to see the
uptake of linux by the greater masses. God forbid that we make it to easy
for people to use or find out about. Reality is that the large majority of
people who use a computer use facebook. Mailing lists are a PITA, IRC?
great for geeks. As a professional who spends his days fixing computers,
installing Ubuntu where appropriate it needs to be about easy.
