[wellylug] Linux Mint 16 - Broadcom wireless issue

Hi Guys,

New Linux user here and decided to install Linux Mint, install went fine however I am having major wireless issues, if it does work it is extremely slow but drops off 99.9% of the time.

Tried multiple things others have recommended on various site, and before I give up I thought I was ask here if anyone was wanting to have a crack at getting it going if I drop the laptop off to them in Porirua/Wellington somewhere.
