I work for N=E1ndor T=E1nczos, Green MP and spokesperson for IT.  One of th=
e
frustrations for an MP running Linux on their laptops is that whenever
they want to get more help on installing stuff and just general learning
and trouble shooting for a Linux system, the installfests and the like
are usually when they have to be at other important official type
events.  So N=E1ndor being an imaginative guy thought "why don't I bring
one to me? and at the same time introduce some of my fellow MPs to
Linux?". =20

So he said to me "Rayna, organise an installfest in parliament!"

And I thought "right on boss!"

So being the local LUG Install guys 1, 2 & 3, what do you reckon about
the idea?  It will get a whole lot of publicity for your group and you
will probably be able to convert some MPs and other parliamentary staff
who have always wondered but just haven't had the time..
