My only experience was installing it in Debian and it was the other day
to see if they would actually work.

As for the licence question, I am not 100% sure, I know that when you
get it it you have to enter your e-mail address, and when you compile
the driver you also have to enter your e-mail and serial number.

Not sure ... but at least they can connect at 14.4 just to get them
online. =20
