Surely usage of funds for this kind of thing is not really the right thing to do - it should be put back into the group for promotion, etc. and should not *ever* be used in the way that you are proposing.

It is my opinion that if the group wants to benefit itself by way of a 'curry fund' then the whole aim of the LUG is wrong and I personally will not have anything further to do with it.
