I seem to recall the discussion moving to "choose the language of your
preferred menu" without the wider membership ever being asked if the $$ should
go on food? 

Like I said earlier, a social meal is certainly in line with the esposed LUG
goals, so I don't know that we need to, but I still feel it would be better to
give the membership more say about where the $$ go.

That doesn't mean we need the entire membership to agree to every syllababble,
but before the cabal talks menu, I think the membership should agree on food.
It just seems a bit presumptive on our part.
