I think what I was trying to say, probabally in the wrong way, was that,

Under a "Commette" system, they make all the rules, and have all the
power, and can basically do what they like and say "Screw You - vote me
out at the next election, until then shut up, we are doing it our/my way"

I think that any lug member has the right to say, I think we should do
this, and if a majority aggree in a poll (lasting say two weeks) then a
vote is taken and if only 3 people vote, and 2 say yes and one says no,
then it goes ahead - all the fools who didnt vote should not moan, they
had the right to voice their oppinon with their mouse clicks - if they are
not happy then vote it out.
And yes it could get into a roundabout but then thats the price we pay for
freedom as a group........... IMHO.

The majority seem to just wanna sit down and talk about linux .. YAAAA --
what a lug is about - must say the IRC channel is working out very well
BTW....

but yeah .. I think what I was trying to get accross was that I dont like
the idea of a group of people deciding the future direction of the group..
I believe it should be left up to everyone... equal power within the group
for eveyone .. weather they use Mandrake, redhat or that ultimate supreem
distro Debian.... or a Mac :)
