Just better add,
Jamie is talking about the 'Member Vote' page, which is a poll of a
special lug issue. So to Lindsay's question, yes, there is a tool, which
is ready to be used for getting feedback from Lug members.
The poll which you have been receiving feedback from, is the 'fun &
casual' poll, which many larger sites have. I try to think of something
interesting to put up, & gives ideas about what LUG members think. Eg:
the current 'What type of computer system do you plan to next get?'.
