For the record i've considered this; against the background noise of NZLUG 
I don't see it being a problem at this point.
-announce is there for the greater purpose but many people don't opt in to 
both. Going forward we may need to promote membership to it...

At the moment only AuckLUG and WLUG advertise their meetings on NZLUG. 
More of NZ would be welcome.
