Clarifications.
1) nzlug-discuss != NZLUG. nzlug-discuss is the organisation group where
we're discussing the nitty gritty of NZLUG's future. Its not the same as
NZLUG proper. Further no 'decisions' are being made, because any ideas that
come off that list will go to nzlug@ for discussion first anyway.
2) you can replace www.wlug.org.nz with wiki.linux.net.nz and the URL's go
to the same place. So the move therefore, is from an NZLUG point of view,
to use wiki.linux.net.nz/Ubuntu.
WLUG'rs can continue to use their domain. The rest of us can use
wiki.linux.net.nz and get an NZLUG branded version of the same stuff.
I personally would love to see WLUG start to reduce the use of the
www.wlug.org.nz reference to their wiki and use wiki.linux.net.nz - but we
can't enforce that. Likewise it could be called 'credit for having gotten a
decent, informative, working system online, and then giving the world access
to it'.
