The letters "wlug" appear in all the url's, which makes them WLUG pages, not
NZLUG. Surely you don't believe a few links to WLUG pages makes a viable
standalone NZLUG?

I have not criticised the WLUG site, it is a great resource. I can get there
fine from http://www.wlug.org.nz. NZLUG is quite irrelevant for this.

As I said before, IMHO, if NZLUG is to be of any use & have it's own identity,
it will need to be more that a duplicate of bits of WLUG (or any other regional
LUG), and right now it seems little more than that.

You seem to claim that a viable NZLUG simply comprises links to WLUG pages. You
have not offered any opinions suggesting that any more is required, just
pointed out more links to WLUG content to justify having the NZLUG.

I feel it needs to be more than that to be a viable entity in it's own right,
and that a few links to relevant pages at pretty much one site is therefore
only a start. I haven't said it is a bad start, just that I believe it needs to
be more than that. With some suggestions as to what the more might be....

I think that NZLUG could become a viable and useful LUG, but it will need to
enhance what regional LUG's do, not just duplicate or link to it to really have
any value.

to browse some archives so I'm not spouting stuff that's been covered there
before... (I had an email saying they would try to get the archives up for
