Personally I don't think, given our loose organisation, we need a 
"spokesperson" on the NZLUG organising group (or in this case mailing list).

It's not as though WellyLUG has a "view", we certainly don't have a concensus!

Having said that there are now a number of us subscribing to the 
NZLUG-discuss group and putting in our two cents worth.  If anyone has a 
particular view of what should happen, I think they should also join in.

Perhaps asking those participating to report back to this list would be 
appropriate.
