The positive side of the post which started this whole thread off was
highlighted very succinctly earlier. WellyLUG is more than a Mailing List
- its a community. I for one appreciate the fact that he posted to
WellyLUG before putting the machines up for grabs elsewhere.
And as i've said already, I don't think that given the low volume of this
sort of post to date, that its as big a deal as has been made out.
aka 'i'm over it, why isnt everyone else'?
The point of my earlier message was simply that maybe peoples perspectives
on this need refreshing.
I suppose its one of those 'manure, uphill, rake' situs though. People
don't like change. A shame though given theres an excellent opportunity
to grow here - and in response to Geraints thought earlier - I don't think
its ever too late.
