While "wellylug" doesn't exist, and I'm completely happy with the
website as it currently performs - when it goes down our mailing list
stays up, and it's all good. I can't say I visit the website daily -
so if it's down I might not even realise.
Nothing really with WellyLug is mission critical...
But there is the ideal..
Reliability of connectivity is something that is desirable - and
something that a "commercial" provider - such as Araneo - have
monitoring and SLAs in place to ensure service - it doesn't require
the frustrating 45 min wait on TCL helpdesk to log a fault, it's Jon
that gets woken at 3am by a page to tell him your ping times are now
12.1ms instead of 2ms on average ;)
Reliability of the server is also desirable - and as Tony has
alluded, the current server is a "good ol' workhorse" - that could
conceivably die eventually - just not today.
Lets worry about it all when it becomes a problem. I think we
probably need to be playing a more ciritcal game before succession
planning needs to be looked into :)

Dammit, first they took my 2c, then my 5c. It's costing far to much
for me to speak my 10c+GST these days ;)
