The server is very reliable, it just runs, and runs, and ...
As for Telstra's domestic internet connection, well hopefully that will
settle down :-) The old connection at 256Mbits was pretty stable ...

WellyLUG does exist, one doesn't have to be a legal entity to "exist" -
there are dozens of un-incorporated societies out there.

Yeah, the traffic isn't exactly high :-)

The one thing we have is a free, no strings attached website. We don't
have to worry about a free service (like with the old Paradise website)
disappearing at the whim of an ISP, nor a free hosting (eg Naos) getting
worried about the security of the site (there's nothing else on that server
that is critical to anyone), nor anyone who is going to object to content,
nor put restraints on it's usage due to commercial conflicts, nor a site
that'll have to move if someone changes job.
From my point of view there are only three reasons I would discontinue
hosting it
1) WellyLUG wanted to move it
2) Bandwidth requirements became excessive and I was left to pickup the bill
3) I moved to Outer Mongolia or somewhere without a reasonably reliable
internet connection
