Forwarded. I recall a similar discussion some time ago[1] around 
advertising.

The end position was that basically, we're at the whim of our host (Ewen) 
and that our host does not wish advertising of any sort to appear on the 
LUG.

I for one find this position a little bit inflexible... perhaps i've been 
spoilt by the other LUG's ive participated in for the past 10 years or 
so... (NZLUG, AuckLUG)... but shouldnt the Linux Users Group support the 
_users_ ?
