[wellylug] Venue? e-vision

I also had a chat to Jan and she stated categorically that, with their
financial status as it is, they cannot afford to subsidise WLUG to the level
we would require.
She stated that the normal charge is $100 per hour, not per event, but they
could discounted that a little. (how much?)
However she suggested applying to REDA (Wellington Regional Economic
Development Agency) for a subsidy. As I am a newbie to the group, and
Linux/FreeBSD et al, I do not have all the information to support an
application. I am happy to work on it, but would need help with supporting
information about the group and it's activities, as well as the 'line' to
take with the application. I heard at my first meeting in November, a link
to the Open Source project, a link? to the 'Netday in schools' scheme, etc.
If this is so, then this information would be essential in such an
application.
Responses please?.......
