Hi Rose
  Xfree 4.1 installed by both redhat 8.0 and Mandrake 9.0 does'nt support
your S3 Trio 64V2 video card. You need  to install an older version of
RedHat or Mandrake, (say 8.2) which has Xree86 3.3 which does support your
card.
