[wellylug] USB and digital cameras

Anyone any experience with USB and digital cameras with RedHat9?  RH seems to be mostly interested in serial connection for cameras, but a card reader plugged in is recognised.  I am thinking it only requires mounting the removable storage in order to access is but cannot work out how to do that.  Its describes itself as a SCSI emulation whatever the significance of that in fstab perhaps?
