[wellylug] Saturn Cable Modem Setup

I am having difficulty with setting up a Saturn cable modem under 
Mandrake.  This may have been discussed before, but old list 
messages no longer seem to be available.

I can successfully connect using Windows on the same machine so 
link, provider information and NIC are OK.

I have referred to the 'Cable Modem Providers HOWTO' but this 
covers Debian only for Saturn.  Incidentally there is an error under the 
Saturn description - it says that Gateway is the allocated ISP number 
but with 1 on the end.  In my case ISP is 203.79.118.x , but the 
gateway is 203.79.116.1 .  

I have tried to set things up through the Mandrake Control Center 
trying various options but without success.  I suspect that it may be 
necessary to tweak some /etc/ files. 

Anyone had experience of this please?
