[wellylug] Aims or Objectives

I acquired my negative view of the more militant Open Source advocates
in the couple of years I was subscribed to NZLug.  Over that time, I saw
it decline from an interesting, useful resource to a torch-waving
anti-Microsoft lynch mob.  I hate to say it, but over the past months
I've seen the same thing beginning to occur here.

It's quite possibly an inevitable result of the increased membership and
interest the lug has gained recently - I'm not sure.

Sam,

You appear to consistently use emotive language when sharing your fears
relating to some of the issues being discussed these last few months.
What's up?  I'm wondering what your perception of your fellow LUG
members is, and how you formed it.
