If they come out at all.  I remember a large company took ages to
release a windows 2000 driver for a range of its scanners, and when they
finally did release it, it would often cause a kernel level crash in
windows 2000, causing the machine to reboot.  Maybe Jamie was just plain
lucky not to experience problems like this with proprietary software.

Or join Mandrake Club.  There are proprietary drivers there, where they
belong.
