[wellylug] Fedora Core 1 Installfest challenges - SuSE 9 replacement?

Hi All,
We have struck some challenges with FC1 for the Installfest (apart from
no-one to date registering for it that is...). The problem is that it
doesn't quite deliver all we want out of the box. We can get it up to spec
with a bit of manual adjustment on the day but I'm still not happy about
handing the machine back to a newbie. We are working on resolving this for
the day and we have a couple of volunteers but...

An alternative is to use SuSE 9. I am a keen SuSE user and feel it is more
appropriate for the target punter but there is the question of ongoing
support. So, how many others out there use/have used SuSE and would be
comfortable assisting with the installfest and providing a bit of support
afterward. I can provide a bit of training beforehand if you want as well.
