Replying to my own post because I was trigger-happy with the enter
key, and have now thought better of it.  My criticism was a bit harsh.
 Hylafax can be tricky to configure.  Docs here:

I do agree with Sam though, that this software is provided for free
and the appropriate response when features are missing is to offer
help to the developers.
