Fantastic. That worked, thanks. Only just got around to it now,
because of the excitements of the season. 

BTW, I'm using a kernel I compiled myself, so the Debian people are
not at fault. Just me.

Or the kernel developers. 

Yes, I think it was probably the kernel developers' fault. ;-]
