I also find this amount of 'rules' uncomfortable and wonder why there is a
need for such a complex set of rules?
My view is that the group has existed well enough so far without having to
formalise it, so why do we need to do so now?
Most people who have posted seem to feel quite uncomfortable about such a
set of rules to formalise the group and I would fear that if persisted
with it may just fragment the LUG into 2 new LUGs, one with formalisation
and one without.

....just my 2 cents
