With regards to your onboard network interface, is it a Broadcom 4400
chipset? If so, there are experimental drivers in Linux 2.6 (which work
well, but without magic packet support for WOL) otherwise there are
'official' Broadcom Linux drivers (opensource) here - I'm not sure where
the official website for them is however.

And I think there are is also b44.c or something in Linux 2.4 but I've
never used that one. It was the basis for the 2.6 driver I think.
