[wellylug] Window Managers from startx

OK, next question. When I run startx KDE starts up, but I want to use
Enlightenment.
In my Slackware setup I use the xinitrc file to specify which Window Manager
I want to run when I run startx. But in my debian xinitrc file there is
nothing but a reference to another file - Xsession I think - and this file
references a bunch of others - long story short I get lost before I can
figure out where this is specified.
I can of course select Enlightenment if I use gdm, kdm or xdm, but I want to
boot to a text login prompt (is that getty?) and then run startx if I decide
to use the GUI that day - having already logged in so obviously I don't want
to enter user names and passwords again in kdm.
So where does Debian specify which Window Manager to use from startx?

   Nick
