All you should have done was to put your advert on a website, and then 
post the URL ONCE ONLY to the list. That is all you needed to do. Contrary 
to your implied opinion, people subscribed to these lists CAN read and DO 
have brains.

Repetitive posting of the same inane advertizing to multiple email lists 
is... spamming those lists.

Be that as it may, and I agree with that. But unwanted spam is still 
unwanted spam no matter how it be dressed up.
