Do you put anything in it other than your own show? Or is this a general
service that anybody can have items of news included in?
If it is merely an advert for your show, then all that is necessary is a
link to your website from all the other LUGs' websites. No regular email
required.
If it is a general written news roundup/summary in email format,
consisting of headlines and URLs as already suggested, then it is to be
welcomed.

Oh! Thanks for the link.
You're creating a recording that is archived in mp3 and ogg file formats
that are not streamed but rather downloaded for playing once downloaded.
"Podcast"??? silly term, IMHO.
Why not simply Anounce: "Mp3 and ogg files of <insert name of show here>
are now available at <insert URL here>. A summary of the episode's
contents can be found <insert URL to website here>, Enjoy!" You could
archive them on an FTP or http server anywhere in the world, and have
direct links to them in your email, and also a link to your show's own
website.
I wasn't aware that your use of "roundup" referred to an audio programme
in mp3 and ogg formats. I thought it was an email news summary. So I was
wrong. Sorry.
Any chance of low bitrate versions via Bit Torrent? :o)
