It's got a new hard drive, and I ideally want to run it without a cpu
fan.

The problem is that the motherboard has a bunch of capacitors right next
to the socket, causing most heatsinks to not fit it. :-(

I really want to know if anyone thinks it will be cooled enough with
just the small heat sink, if it's right next to the case fan, which is
much larger than the current fan.

The current case is too small to fit stuff and looks terrible. Plus a
cheap low-end system would still require me to buy the large hard drives
and will not be as quiet.

The celeron is powerful enough for what I'm doing. I already have too
many PCs lying around the house, so no point buying another.

Bret, the oil cooled system looks promising, but I might have a bit of a
problem hotplugging usb devices. ;-)

And thanks for the review link Colin.
