I can get a gentoo server up and running in under 2 hours. And this is
a 600Mhz system, and compiling the kernel and everything. If I went for
prebuilt packages (which I don't because GCC has issues with i686
optimisations) it'd be about the same as a Debian install.
I wouldn't say Gentoo is for inexperienced users, but I like it, it
just works for me :)
