[wellylug] Switching ISPs

OK, so I've looked over the new TelstraClear plans and am underwhelmed.
So I'm taking a look at alternatives while everyone still has their
pre-Christmas specials on.
For a 10GB limit, with throttling to 64KB when cap is exceeded, the
average cost seems to be $70/month with approximately $99 setup fee +
equipment (most ISPs seem to be reselling the Telecom ADSL
configurations or matching their prices).
I was bit intrigued though by GASP; wireless at $70/month with no
limits, and I own the equipment. (looks like they have decent coverage
in the Hutt Valley) Has anyone used it? Are there any gotchas?
Failing that I'm looking for a decent runner-up; preferably not a member
of the duopoly or their hanger-ons. Especially nice would be an ISP that
is an OSS supporter and who doesn't assume the world runs MS.
