wellylug_org exists. I'm pretty sure its mentioned on the web somewhere.

IMHO the response would also be 'user opinion' (in fact more this than
direct commercially oriented responses) which is likely to be of more use
than a commercially oriented response - becuase it reflects something
closer to 'truth' (from a user POV)... which is why usually you would post
this sort of query to the LUG in the first place.

Which comes back to the issue that where theres no personal gain, its not
advertising, and shouldn't be somethin that a song and dance is created
over.

Now having said my bit, I would reccomend that we go back to talking about
Linux stuff.

But I would strongly encourage the Org group - and i'm doing this on the
open list deliberately - to consider exactly _how much_ policing is infact
required on here. YOu have a good LUG list, a small amount of noise is
always likely - noting the larger amount of noise that resulted from the
complaints etc it'd have been far more useful in the great scheme of
thinsg simply to allow a smaller amount of not-for-profit
useful-to-members posts to be dealt with privately, by those tasked with
the actual job of policing the list - and for the rest of us to 'get over
it'. Because being too nazi-like on this _will_ push members away!

Sigh.

Mark.
