[wellylug] WARNING: Kubuntu/Ubuntu Edgy Eft upgrade not easy

I don't know what it is with the python packages Ian.  The adept 
auto-updater thingy says I've got about 15 (mainly python related) 
packages ready to upgrade but when i click to upgrade, it wants to 
remove other packages and I don't know how to tell which ones to keep 
and which ones to let it remove.  Let me know if you have any idea on 
this problem or if you figure out answers to your python dilemma.  The 
new install also won't let me view easily in Konqueror the folders in 
root either.  I have to physically type /etc or whatever into the 
address bar.  With any other mouse clicking way I find it all hidden  - 
any ideas on that?
