Hi Leo,
What software did you use to burn the ISO?
>From the sound of it you have burned the ISO straight onto the CD, if you
use Nero you can just double click the ISO and burn it that way. Or use
this: http://www.imgburn.com to burn the iso to the disc.
After the image is burned to the disc you should be able to explore it with
Explorer by right clicking the drive it is on and select explore. There will
be a bunch of different directories on the disc.
Next you should change the BIOS settings so that it boots from the CD Rom.
After saving the BIOS place the CD in the drive (doesn't matter which one as
the BIOS will search for the boot file) and you should then be greeted with
the Ubuntu boot screen.
