Like all computing courses, a large part of the plan will need
revision on the fly when you meet the students, and discover what they
already know :-)

And as there is no hard-and-fast description, it wouldn't be
unreasonable to concentrate on just Writer ... but there's so much
more in OOo, especially as this isn't billed as "wordprocessing"
