Hi,
For a number of years I've been helping out a local architecture
practice with their limited I.T. needs.
I am getting too busy to be of practical use to them and I am looking
for someone to take over. If anyone based in the CBD is on the lookout
for a perk job or new support customer then get in touch and I will
forward their details.
As background they are demanding users of Windows (i.e. Revit) that
don't have any server infrastructure (they get by with file and print
sharing).
I haven't pushed the issue because they are really long-term
acquaintances who I like to help out rather than a business customer who
I want to make money off.
Getting some sort of Linux file/print server into their office with
reliable backup would no doubt be the first step for anyone new coming in.
Your only challenge is that like all architects they are rather tight
fisted when it comes to their own money....
David
