[wellylug] mknod

Hi all

I have something odd here on my latop.

Dmesg indicates me that my DVD drive is here, but it seems that
the /dev/hdc has disappeared.
Can I recreate it with mknod? if so what are the minor and major # for
that ?

No need to say that it worked Ok before ... 

Distro is Ubuntu 6.1 for 64 X2 AMD
