Have you tried umtsmon?? I have had a lot of joy with voda and CDMA
telecom devices. Havnt tried the xt stick. But if it's broken you
could always return it and say I tried I make this work but it
doesn't. Pop out your sim and try another device.
The more expensive stick from telecom is a sierra wireless one. So
should be better supported as the sierra site has Linux drivers for
most of its cards. It may work better.. In theory ;)
