Yup, this is the appropriate place & welcome to Wellylug. :-)
Thanks, your work sounds really interesting, would love to have you
present your talk at our next meeting.
There isn't a particular normal format for talks, however long you want
to present for is fine.
There is a projector/Plasma TV available, you are welcome to bring your
own laptop, or you can email me the slides in PDF/ODF formats and I can
run them on mine.
